Parenting Workshop

Parenting is hard. Come find ideas and support! This workshop is for anyone who lives or works with kids of any age--parents, grandparents, childcare providers, educators, and those who simply care about helping our kids have a stronger future.  If you find that you are constantly repeating yourself, having to raise your voice, or struggling to get your kids to respond to you, this workshop will give you specific actions you can take to gain your children’s cooperation without nagging, bribing or yelling.  

Our facilitator is Fatima Nascone. Fatima is a certified parent educator with the Parent Encouragement Program (PEP) in Kensington, Maryland (www.pepparent.org).  She has been leading PEP classes for the past 10 years on positive discipline, Anger management, Avoiding Power Struggles, Helping with Morning Mayhem, and other topics.  When she is not passionately involved with her four children, ages 13-17, she is a corporate attorney and business owner.

Cost is $15/family and is payable at the door. We ask that you provide your own childcare for this event. Please let us know if you need assistance with either of these things.
