For over 20 years, Broadneck has joined with other churches in supporting the West Virginia town of Belington, where we join together with community members to do home repair and nurture the community's children. Before the pandemic this was a physical trip undertaken by all generations; since, it has been a "financial mission trip," continue to support feeding and home repair efforts in a community with whom we now have a deep relationship.

We have partnered to buy school uniforms, dig wells, purchase chickens and seeds for raising food, and supporting the nutrition and health needs of the Kutenda Children's Home. Kutenda is a loving home for orphaned and vulnerable children located in Masembura, in rural northeastern Zimbabwe. Kutenda is currently home to 24 children who have lost both parents to AIDS.
